Bread and Circuses

The following is off topic for this blog. Yet, it may be worth considering or it may be worth rejecting like UFO’s.

The Elite and Shadow government give us bread and circuses to keep us content and controlled. (something, as extravagant entertainment, offered as an expedient means of pacifying discontent or diverting attention from a source of grievance.)


Consider what is the bread and circuses of 2019. It is definitely of greater complexity and diversity than when it was first scratched in Ancient Rome.


Don’t eat the bread or go to the circuses. Possible suspects for now, is politics, candidates, democracy, entertainment, and opposition media; such as MSNBC and FOX. Both being bread or circuses for their respective prey.


Live simply, analyze everything cheap or free, and not of your own unpredictable choice.

Think outside, the outside and conclude the un-obvious, beyond the fringe. Look content from consumption.

Paranoia is an artificial barrier. Set your mind free. (I am taking my meds.)

A Christian in the World

Greetings, In my previous Blog entry, “We Fall Down, We Get Up”, I wrote much on “The World”. About our place in it, and the traps and snares, in it for Christians. In this Blog I’m merely going to back up much of what I said with scripture.

I think this may have the benefit to hit home a bit more, and not sound like I was just giving you my opinion. Maybe you want to study this a few scriptures at a time, and consider, meditate on, your actions, and implementation of in your life as an authentic Christian as Wheat and not  a Tare.

Key Passages: Concerning Believers and the World.

John 3:17 “For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world might be saved through Him.

John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.

The Apostles

[The many verses above from the New Testament, are mostly spoken by Christ. It is clearly presented what our relationship should be with the world of non-believer, our attitude and conduct in the world, what the world is and represents to us. You may wish to go and again read the last blog, now that you have a firm understanding of THE WORLD. The deceiver tries to blind us of the reality of the world, and it sometimes seems the church is not teaching truly a key part of the Christians life.]

We Fall Down, We get up

“We Fall Down We Get Up” The title of a song that describes the Christian experience. Unfortunately, it’s a common experience for a great many of us. Also unfortunately, my last few few blogs were written not led by Christ, but led by my previous persona.

I operated a blog called “One Free Press”. My owned and operated by my worldly self; on politics, politicians, and America’s culture. It was all things of the world, Satans kingdom. I got distracted, and was led back into writing of the world, not the Kingdom of Christ on this Blog, that I created to highlight the differences between the Early church, the early Christians, and today’s Church and believers.

My previous Blog was a political blog, critical of culture, leaders and a watchdog of government, and media. I was acting as a Free News Media, not conflicted by ownership, agenda, or following the pack.

By reverting back to my previous blog, I was not being vigilant and took the path of the world, leading me away from what I feel was my call to revival.

My previous blog is likely needed today, but the emphasis on Jesus and the return to the model of the new testament and the early church was my new mission.

So, I apologize. I have gone back to the cross of salvation through faith, asking Jesus to be my barrier to the world, Satans kingdom. If I offended anyone by my aggressive opinions, I regret it. My so called sabbatical is over.

I have got up and will continue forward with Christ as my barrier and I shall call with out ceasing on the Holy Spirit to keep me on the path of Gods agenda and his will, not my own. Thus I go forward joyfully, and unashamed of the gospel.

American culture, the politics, our multiple camps of leadership, our issues, and especially the hate, anger, and violence are all part of Satans Kingdom. Some aspects of America 101, were initiated by Godly filled men and women, some may still do so, yesterday and today.

As these people died or moved on under inertia or rely on their own intellect or forced by events or others, not the Holy Spirit, they no longer represent Gods will. If you cannot sense or know Gods will through prayer and/or while reading Jesus’s words and the New Testament, this must be an urgent need in all areas of your life.

If you feel God is silent, speak with other spirit filled Christians. This is a great impetus for the Revival of the ministry of the early Church. A church where sisters and brothers have frequent communion together to assist, comfort, and lift up each other.

We are in the world but not of the world. Our spiritual relationship with the world is to bring light into it. Let our light so shine. Of course we work, often have needed and honorable careers, eat, buy, and obey the laws of our respective nations. But we must keep forefront in our minds, we are strangers in a strange land.

The world operates under different rules than our homeland, the Kingdom of God. We must not be seduced in becoming a soldier, activist, watchdog, or servant unaware; of the world, Satans kingdom.

There are no gray areas, if it’s not currently empowered and continuously infused with the power of God, it’s likely the devil you serve, or will in time be snared into.

Including all the great issues and movements you so much support and believe in. You of course can be there bringing light but you also must always be walking and talking filled with the spirit of Christ.

If it diverges from Christ, regardless of how much you believe it’s the right path, or way things should be, you must decide who your master is and what your purpose is.

If you have lived comfortably in the world, and believe in Christ, go to church, your duplicity isn’t just error, but you have been trapped in the snare of the deceiver or he will eventually spring it.

You, me, all who proclaim Christ as our Lord, must daily or at times during the day, affirmatively decide who we choose to follow, and with clarity, without any duplicity or doubt, but in faith.

We must always be aware Satan has been the enemy of all people since Eden. With his/her and legions of demons, they have a single purpose of deceiving you or trapping you in his subtle, and often camouflaged snares. Once again, Choose this day who you will follow.

Satans greatest achievement is sewing doubt of his existence, presence, and the continuous war to destroy Gods creation.

God bless you, the Church of Christ, and may his and your spirit remain close.

THE NEW COVENANT

[Content in brackets and italics are my humble thoughts, not out of Hebrews or other scripture.]

COVENANT AND GOSPEL

[The following content is practically all scripture from Hebrews Chapters 9-13. The whole book of Hebrews is a blessing to read. I believe it is more for Jews God is calling to himself. He came for the Jews first and then the Gentiles. Because the Jews largely rejected the gospel of grace. Chapters 1-8 describes the old law, the tabernacle, The High Priest, The sacrifice and the faith of the many righteous men and women of the Old Covenant.]

REVIVAL OF THE NE W TESTAMENT CHURCH
BEGINS HERE.

[The New Covenant is explained in such detail here, that anyone who knows just partially about the Life of Christ, this could fill in the completion of the New Testament, The New Covenant that us Gentile Christians should follow and live and breathe. Putting aside the old Covenant until we learn new life, holiness, love, worship, and power of the New. We Christians have been blinded as the Jews were blinded.]

Jesus, High Priest of a Better Covenant (7:28)

“Behold, the days are coming, declares the Lord, when I will establish a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah, (8:9)

“I will put my laws into their minds, and i write them on their hearts” 8:10

[Christians of the new covenant of Christ, sealed with the power of the Holy Spirit, will know the laws of God. Written in our minds and hearts. It is unnecessary to study volumes of scripture or have Priest, Bishops, and teachers. It is with us, within the Holy Spirit.]

[Forgiven, Forgiven, Forever, For Us Who Know Him]

“…for they shall all know me, from the least of them to the greatest. For I will be merciful toward their iniquities, and I will remember their sins no more.” (8:11-12)

Only One Covenant Now

“In speaking of a new covenant, he makes the first one obsolete.” (8:13)

But when Christ appeared as a high priest (9:11)

“the greater and more perfect tent not made with hands, that is, not of this creation” (9:11) nt

The Better Tabernacle

[Moses was given instructions for building the first Tabernacle, but our new Tabernacle is with God and Jesus is the High Priest. The Greatest Tabernacle.]

Do Not Harden Your Hearts as the Jews did

 [How could Jews not be cut deeply by these revelations, except the hardening of their hearts. For this was the beginning of the time of the Gentiles. Once this is fulfilled, God will fulfil his promises and Covenant with the Jews. Don’t hesitate, I believe that time approaches quickly.]

The Redeemer

“Therefore, he is the mediator of a new covenant, so that those who are called may receive the promised eternal inheritance, since a death has occurred that redeems them from the transgressions committed under the first covenant.” (9:15)

“he has appeared once for all at the end of the ages to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself.” (9:26)

The Blood Sacrifice

“Christ, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time, not to deal with sin but to save those who are eagerly waiting for him.” (9:28)

““Behold, I have come to do your will.” He does away with the first in order to establish the second. And by that will we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.” (10:9-10)

No Other Priest Required – Jesus is our High Priest

“This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, declares the Lord: I will put my laws on their hearts, and write them on their minds,” (10:16)

“I will remember their sins and their lawless deeds no more.” (10:17)

The New Church Must be United through Love
Fellowship of Love and Compassion

And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near. (10:24)

OUR THORN

God takes us just as we are, thorns and all. The devil would hope the thorns in your flesh would discourage you and separate you from God. But Paul’s reaction;

Boasting in His Weakness

He calls his thorn a “weakness”. We all have weaknesses, thorns in our flesh. I do, and you do. But Christ is always there, Christ said to Paul his grace was sufficient for you. The power of Christ rest on Paul due to his weakness, so in this he can boast.

The Strength of Christ Rest on Us

All we require is faith, he is now our High Priest, praying for us, with the power to redeem. When we feel the finger of accusation saying to us “Sinner, you will never overcome your sin.” We are then blessed by the strength of Christ resting upon us, ready to forgive us as we repent. In strength of Christ the chains fall behind us. We are in Christ, we cast our burdens to the Holy Spirit. “faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ.(Mt.13:13)

On the Cross Jesus Wore a Crown of Thorns

There lay the source of our Faith, and his strength in our weaknesses.  is in the words of Christ, his promises to us. So many wonderful promises of his gifts, forgiveness, new life, intercession. So many, these are where our faith rest, and the source of our victory and joy. On the cross Jesus wore a crown of thorns.

You Are Not Of This World

The real church is Christians filled with the Holy Spirit and led by Jesus.

We, as Christians put Christ ahead of politics and the nation we reside in

The New Testament is the covenant made by the blood of Jesus, sacrificed for our sins through eternity. He was the Lamb of God of course his sacrifice was special.

Whoever has faith in the Son of God, and his substitution on the cross for our sins, will know God, be saved from his forever.

Jesus said blessed is the peacemakers, for they will see God. We as Christians are called to be peacemakers, peaceful, and non- violent. We should all be pacifist if we are Christians. Persons who gave their life in any war, veterans, and current military are not guilty.

Why, because the church has been an arm of government since Constantine in 300AD. He stopped persecutions, and torture of Christians, that was horrific for 300 years. He also claimed he had a vision of a cross on a shield and he became a Christian.

The Church was loosely organized with mostly autonomy, worshipping in small groups, collectively. There were Bishop, not like today’s Bishops, they cleared up disputes, and gave their opinion as a brother and Christian love.

Many of the most influential Bishops were so thankful for Constantine’s end to Christian persecution they so much was tired of hiding and wanted to believe. Even attributing Constantine as a hand of God. He was not of God.

Constantine made it clear to some Romans, his job and the legions was to conquer land. Not hold it He wanted an Imperial Church that could win hearts and minds. Who could convince the conquered that God was on the side of the benevolent Romans. Churches and forced conversions, pagan gods had all statues destroyed.

Constantine, through his Bishops, called a Nicene conference, who decided, and authorized Church Doctrines, and began the process of approving which scripture was of God. Many in the east, west, and South disagreed on some decisions with their lives. The Christian Bishops who attended the Nicene councils were A large minority of the worldwide Christians and their Bishops.

The council sent their manuscripts, approved teachings, organization authority throughout all the Christian lands. Constantine enforced 100% compliance, or excommunication which meant prison or death.

Church and State were a partnership until today. Just War theory of Augustine was from a previous Greek philosopher, who was friendly with Constantine.

Christians you are not of this world, separate your loyalty and love that belongs to Christ, not your nation. Live and worship as the early church did prior to hoodwinking by Rome and the now official Imperial Church. Set your self free, learn what a real Christian believes from the New Testament.

Sorry this is long and one post, there is a reason. Below is a portion of the letter to Diognetus, which tells what the Church was like prior to its almost destruction.

The letter to Diognetus (in brief)

Christians are not distinguished from other men by country, language, nor by the customs which they observe. They do not inhabit cities of their own, use a particular way of speaking, nor lead a life marked out by any curiosity. The course of conduct they follow has not been devised by the speculation and deliberation of inquisitive men. The do not, like some, proclaim themselves the advocates of merely human doctrines.

Instead, they inhabit both Greek and barbarian cities, however things have fallen to each of them. And it is while following the customs of the natives in clothing, food, and the rest of ordinary life that they display to us their wonderful and admittedly striking way of life.

They live in their own countries, but they do so as those who are just passing through. As citizens they participate in everything with others, yet they endure everything as if they were foreigners. Every foreign land is like their homeland to them, and every land of their birth is like a land of strangers.

They marry, like everyone else, and they have children, but they do not destroy their offspring.

They share a common table, but not a common bed.

They exist in the flesh, but they do not live by the flesh. They pass their days on earth, but they are citizens of heaven. They obey the prescribed laws, all the while surpassing the laws by their lives.

They love all men and are persecuted by all. They are unknown and condemned. They are put to death and restored to life.

They are poor, yet make many rich. They lack everything, yet they overflow in everything.

They are dishonored, and yet in their very dishonor they are glorified; they are spoken ill of and yet are justified; they are reviled but bless; they are insulted and repay the insult with honor; they do good, yet are punished as evildoers; when punished, they rejoice as if raised from the dead. They are assailed by the Jews as barbarians; they are persecuted by the Greeks; yet those who hate them are unable to give any reason for their hatred.

This website is on WordPress.com. I often read some other selections on topic that interest me. But, there is one that hits me, every time I see the title.

The following are some bible verses I think are appropriate.

The apostles said to the Lord, “Increase our faith!”  (LUKE 17:5)

Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen. (Hebrews 11:1)

So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ.(Romans 10:17)

If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. ( Romans 10:9)

Thus, praying for an increase in faith. Faith and belief are very similar words meaning trust. When you say help me believe, you are asking for something you desire, something you cannot see. It’s difficult to believe in things you can’t see. But do you believe in the wind. Of course you do, even though you can’t see it. But you see the things it touches and the effect it has on them. Have you ever seen someone’s belief in God have a profound affect on them.

Just War theory and Jesus

“I give you the gift of peace. In the same way the Father sent Me, I am now sending you.” (john 20,21)

Blessed Are The Peacemakers, For They Will See God

As a New Testament Christian, I don’t use quotes in the Old Testament on violence and war. We are free of the law and prophets by the  grace of Jesus.  (See Hebrews)

All was fulfilled when Jesus died for our sins. We are under a New covenant.

The 2nd edition of my Flash Non-Fiction ebook is up on Amazon. “Wrestling With God” by James Wiggins.

CHRISTIANS CAUSE VIOLENCE

I previously operated a Blog called the Americanist and a Peace Blog, after various mass or school shootings, I often had various articles on violence. I will only briefly address this, the 90% controlled news media is already destroying all rationality over the recent shootings last week (Aug. 5 2019).

Why has America been involved in some type of war, large and small, almost every year since 1776? (Wikipedia) Why do males prefer violent films and sports over females in overwhelming percentages. Why do males remember more about violent films than females. Why do males go to prison for violent crimes, commit violent crimes, in very large percentages over females. Why are us American males addicted to violence in our culture? “The answer my friend is blowing in the wind….”

Christians Can Greatly Reduce American Violence

The last census stated 70% of Americans claimed to identify themselves as Christians. That 70% is reducing quickly, especially among those who are 30 and under. DO SOMETHING!

Not all, we all know people who at work have religious literature on their desk, made religious comments often. “Thank you Jesus!” Of course this doesn’t mean their life is filled with Christ. Many Christians lives ARE filled with Christ, many aren’t. Why?

The Church Has Changed, We Have Lost Something

My first three blogs, concentrated on the differences between the early Church and the contemporary one. And not for the better. Why? We do not follow Jesus. We are not led by the Holy Spirit. Our worship services, and churches are not based on the New Testament. Our Ministers and Priest do not teach living in the spirit of Jesus, the Holy Spirit, as taught in the New Testament. This was the purpose of the earlier Blogs.

Where Is The Holy Spirit In Our Lives?

Backing up some, many people don’t fit the pitfalls I am discussing.

Many of us believe the Holy Spirit is within when you profess faith in Christ. However in reading the New Testaments, there appears throughout different levels either available to some or that individuals are able to call on. Below Paul is addressing and praying for the Ephesians on being filled with the Holy Spirit. Look closely on the how and the results.

ACTS 3:14

For this reason I kneel before the Father, 15 from whom every family in heaven and on earth derives its name. 16 I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, 17 so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, 18 may have power, together with all the Lords holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, [HIS LOVE IS 3 DIMENTIONAL] 19 and to know this love that surpasses knowledge [IS UNBELIEVABLY SO]—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God . 20 Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, 21 to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.

The Holy Spirit Descending As a Dove

This describes a Christian filled with the Holy Spirit. You do want this to be you, right? Don’t you? You may not, because you may feel you have to give up too much, or you are unable to meet the standard. The standard is Christ loves you, remember the cross, he promised to fill you and never leave you. He has already forgiven your sins, repent, pray and for help and carry on. Repeat as necessary. But don’t give up, really try behavior modification, he’s there, faith!

I believe the big thing in many, is what you have to give up, you don’t want to stand out. Be like them who stand at the flag poll, or always talk about Jesus. Is it worth it? Re-read Ephesians 3:14-21. And think again. Read it again and highlight in you heart the things I highlighted. Pray as Paul did for the Ephesians, but for yourself in your own words. God will bless you, and be filled with all the fullness of God.

The Early Church: Part 2

“I will send the Holy  Spirit and he will guide you into all truth.”

Last Blog I left out some important word pictures of the early church.

Letter to Diogenes

…5:5 They dwell in their own countries, but only as
sojourners; they bear their share in all things as
citizens, and they endure all hardships as strangers.
Every foreign country is a fatherland to them, and
every fatherland is foreign.

[They were “Strangers in a Strangerland.” Not  of the world they resided in.]

5:6 They marry like all other men and they beget
children; but they do not cast away their offspring.
5:7 They have their meals in common, but not their
wives.
5:8 They find themselves in the flesh, and yet they
live not after the flesh.
5:9 Their existence is on earth, but their
citizenship is in heaven.

[They were “Strangers in a Strangerland.” Not  of the world they resided in.]

The above description of this early New Testament Church, followed the same Jesus we do. We often fail to live up to that calling because of our separation from Jesus and the Holy Spirit. We sin or feel we have disappointed God, we ask for forgiveness, knowing our sins have already been paid for. We know God promised nothing could separate us from his love. We feel a separation from God, hiding in shadows, knowing we will never win, never really defeat sin. We feel often like a failure. On a turning wheel as a mouse.

This is if his Holy Spirit resides in you, leads you, you have given all parts of your life to him. I’m not talking about a feeling of his spirit during certain times, songs, prayers or messages. We should know he is always with us in us. If not we need to peel away the onion of our life by layer, after layer giving it to Christ.

…The problem with many Christians is that they don’t experience that God is real. God seems to be far away from them. Their prayers seem to be ineffective. Their faith is weak and they lack the boldness to tell others about Jesus Christ…His love can fill our hearts and control our actions. His goodness can flood us and his peace can govern us. By faith, you can trust God right now to fill you. You know you were filled when Baptised. The key is faith. Faith in Jesus and in his promise. I’ll give you a very good article about this. While I always felt the Holy Spirit was in me, Jesus was not leading me. I believe I have begun the transfer of my life to His control. If you are not led, have not totally turned your life over to Christ, and in FAITH been filled with the power of the Holy Ghost, then you will struggle and not live in Christ.  

This Blog entry is not what I want to say. But I felt if you are not prepared to be a New Testament Christian, 100%, then whatever I say will not be heard. You are not of the world. Your Home is not your nation. Why do we act as if it were. Hating, arguing, being separated from the presence of God by our lack of love. “They will know we are Christians by our love.” Jesus is our leader, The Holy spirit will help us resist. Neither Trump nor Nancy Pelosi are out leaders. Jesus is. We should be involved in the things of God not of this world. The USA is not, nor has it ever been a Christian Nation. Jesus will establish our homeland when he returns.

You can only accept the above paragraph, if you have fully given all parts of your life to Christ, and in faith led by the Holy Spirit. The New Testament Church must rise out of the ashes, transformed individually and we will transform our world. AMEN!

CHAPTER 1

1:1 Since I see, most excellent Diogenes’s, that thou art exceedingly anxious to understand the religion of the Christians, and that thy enquiries respecting they are distinctly and carefully made, as to what God they
trust and how they worship Him, that they all
disregard the world and despise death, and take no account of those who are regarded as gods by the Greeks, neither observe the superstition of the Jews,and as to the nature

of the affection which they entertain one to another, and of this new development or interest, which has entered into men’s lives now
and not before: I gladly welcome this zeal in thee, and I ask of God, Who supplieth both the speaking and the hearing to us, that it may be granted to myself to speak in such a way that thou mayest be made better by the hearing, and to thee that thou mayest so listen that I the speaker may not be disappointed.

In the above short description of the Christian Church about (130-200 AD), how would you say this compares to the church today? In my next entry I will discuss my feelings on this.
