This website is on WordPress.com. I often read some other selections on topic that interest me. But, there is one that hits me, every time I see the title.
This particular blog’s link is above. Check it out. Pray for this person every time you think of it for two days. “Help Me Believe” Let’s help him.
The following are some bible verses I think are appropriate.
The apostles said to the Lord, “Increase our faith!” (LUKE 17:5)
Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen. (Hebrews 11:1)
So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ.(Romans 10:17)
If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. ( Romans 10:9)
Thus, praying for an increase in faith. Faith and belief are very similar words meaning trust. When you say help me believe, you are asking for something you desire, something you cannot see. It’s difficult to believe in things you can’t see. But do you believe in the wind. Of course you do, even though you can’t see it. But you see the things it touches and the effect it has on them. Have you ever seen someone’s belief in God have a profound affect on them.
Let’s listen to a song about faith…
We have now heard the Aposles ask God to increase their faith and a song asking the Lord to increase the singers faith.
“1. GET IN THE WORD
If you want to know God and grow closer to Him, take time, every day, to study His Word. Do not confuse this with prayer time. Getting into His Word means setting aside time to study the Bible…
God is not looking for a formal prayer with big words and fancy language. He wants your heart and authenticity. He wants your gratitude and honesty. He wants your time!…
3. ACCEPT HIS HEALING
In order for you to grow in Christ, you must allow Him to heal you. Lay down your life of sin, pride, ego and greed for His grace and healing…”
If your want to read these 18 stories above, you can see how the wind (belief and faith) affected them. God Bless You!
